    We are vegetarians and had a great time in Texas during our big road trip earlier this year! We went in with a similar attitude; drive through fast, get out, but in fact, it was among my favorites of a 24-state road trip. Be sure to find a Tex Mex restaurant, and get a bean burrito or mushroom quesadilla. Worlds better than Taco Bell.
